In many jurisdictions, it's required by law to have backflow preventers tested regularly to ensure they're functioning properly.
- Our testing service typically involves verifying that the backflow preventer is installed correctly, checking for leaks, and measuring the pressure going through the backflow preventer.
- It is important to know that to test backflow preventers connected to the main water service, a 30 min full water shut down is required. We include this special water shut down in our work scope.
- Once the testing is complete, it's important to submit a test report to your local water authority (in this case EPCOR) to demonstrate that your backflow preventer is up to code. This can help you avoid fines or other penalties.
- Our scope of work includes submitting a copy of the test report to EPCOR.
- If a backflow issue is detected (failed device test), we will provide a free quote to complete the required repairs.

Work Order Service Agreement
Our work scope includes:
- Test the backflow preventer with a certified test kit.
- Submit copies of test report(s) to Customer and to Epcor, if applicable.
- Diagnose any failed devices.
- Provide free quote for any required repairs.
Project notes:
- A 30 min full water shut down is required to test devices on the water service
- For devices on a fire line (fire suppression system), customer must notify fire alarm company just prior to testing
Limited Warranty:
Our limited warranty is 90 days on workmanship, from the date of invoice. All parts and equipment are covered by Manufacturer’s warranty policies which may range between 6 months and 1 year. Contact us PRIOR to ordering if you have any questions about a product warranty.
Cancellations:
You have 24 hours from the time this quote is accepted to cancel this order and receive a full refund on any payments made.
