Description
The Generalaire humidifer 1042 is a whole-home humidifier that is designed to maintain optimal humidity levels throughout your space.
This humidifier can help alleviate dry skin and respiratory issues, as well as protect your home's wood furnishings and floors from damage caused by low humidity.
It is important to note, that this installation package can be purchased to replace a humidifier, or for a new humidifier installation.
- We will locate a suitable location for the humidifier. It should be installed on the supply side of your furnace or air handler, and ideally in a location that allows for easy access for maintenance and cleaning.
- Once we've identified a suitable location, we'll need to install the humidifier onto your ductwork. We will need to cut a hole in the ductwork to do so.
- After installation, we'll connect the humidifier to a water supply.
- Finally, we'll wire the humidifier into your HVAC system so that it turns on and off automatically as needed.
- Once the equipment is installed, it is important that we test and commission it before putting it into service. This process ensures that the equipment operates safely and efficiently, and that it meets the required standards and specifications.

Workmanship warranty - RBA Mechanical provides a limited 90 day warranty guarantee on our work. At any time within 90 days of installation, if there is an issue with our work, we will complete the required repairs at no cost to you.
Product warranty - Falls under the Manufacturer warranty policies. Labour is NOT included on any product warranty work.

- Includes the MHX3 Select-Control Manual Humidistat and all components normally required for a cold water application

Limited Warranty:
Our limited warranty is 90 days on workmanship, from the date of invoice. All parts and equipment are covered by Manufacturer’s warranty policies which may range between 6 months and 1 year. Contact us PRIOR to ordering if you have any questions about a product warranty.
Cancellations:
You have 24 hours from the time this quote is accepted to cancel this order and receive a full refund on any payments made.
