Description
This floor heating package includes:
- Tube layout design drawings
- Uponor helipex tube
- Valved manifolds
- Freeze protection using heat transfer fluid/glycol to at least -25 C
- Wire mesh and concrete at 3-4" thick
Tubing Specifications
- Manufactured using an Uponor-proprietary technology, Uponor helioPEX™ X2 is an oxygen-barrier PEX pipe that conforms to DIN 4726 and is designed as a competitive alternative for residential radiant heating applications.
- The pipe features exceptional workability, flexibility, and kink repairability and is backed by a 25-year limited warranty.
- Uponor helioPEX X2 is rated and listed by the Hydrostatic Stress Board of PPI at 93.3°C (200°F) at 80 psi, 82.2°C (180°F) at 100 psi, and 23°C (73.4°F) at 160 psi.
- The product offering is available in ½", ⅝", or ¾" coils and is compatible with ProPEX® ASTM F1960 expansion, ASTM F2080 compression, and ASTM F1807 crimp fittings.
Note: Uponor helioPEX X2 is not approved for potable-water applications.
Manifold Specifications
The brand of valved manifold(s) may very based on availability.
- The 1 1⁄4" Stainless-steel Manifold Assembly with flow meter comes fully assembled and ready for installation.
- Use the included flow meters located on the supply manifold to balance the loops across the manifold.
- The return manifold comes equipped with isolation valves for easy loop isolation. For multiple zoning on the manifold, the black caps are removed and replaced with Thermal Actuators.

Installation is Included
Revitalize your floor heating with our comprehensive Two-Stage Floor Heating Installation Package.
The necessary materials for installation are provided. This includes the tubing, new manifold(s), concrete and heat transfer fluid/glycol. Our setup and commissioning service includes pressure and leak testing, combustion analysis and tune-up of the existing boiler and control, with the final configuration.
- Say goodbye to the hassle of dealing with your failed floor heating tube system with this professional-grade solution for indoor slab on grade applications.
- This package includes hydronic tubing installation on your existing concrete floor. With our 2 stage solution, you can simply abandon your failed tubing system and enjoy superior performance. And with a new manifold system, you can't go wrong.
- We will prepare the existing concrete floor to properly adhere to the new concrete, and install wire mesh overtop the existing concrete floor. We will then install our tubing to ensure a high efficient installation. We will ensure the tubing is raised to be approximately 1-1/2" from the finished surface.
- A fresh new concrete pour will be completed with a power trowel finish.
- With freeze protection heat transfer fluid included, you can rest assured that your new floor will remain comfortable all year long. We will even ensure your existing automatic feeder is fully connected to your system.
- Our professional will even complete a full system maintenance tune up on your existing boiler.
- With our comprehensive package, you can rest assured that every aspect of the installation process is taken care of professionally. Upon approval of our quote, we will conduct a pre-installation site visit to discuss project details and ensure a seamless execution.

Work Order Installation Agreement
Our work scope includes:
- Complete a pre-installation site visit to discuss project details and fine-tune the installation process
- Prepare existing concrete to adhere to new concrete pour
- Supply and install wire mesh
- Supply and install Helio-pex tubing on top of wire mesh.
- Install tubing on 6" centers around perimeter of outside walls, then on 12" centers
- Pour new concrete at 3-4" thick and complete with a power trowel finish
- Supply and install valved manifolds c/w flow meters in the mechanical room
- Install the existing automatic feeder, and inject freeze protection heat transfer fluid for the tubing and manifolds
- Complete a maintenance tune up service on the existing boiler
- Setup the new system and commission into service
Project notes:
- The entire floor surface will be completed at the same time, therefore, all the floor area that is to be done, must be fully accessible for the new floor heating installation and concrete pour
- The work area will become dusty as the existing floor must be prepared in order to adhere to new concrete
The price does not cover the following services; however, should these services be deemed necessary during the pre-installation site inspection, they will be quoted separately or provided at an additional cost.
- Alterations to existing doors
- Cleaning or painting of walls (customer will be completing)
- Mechanical repairs
Payment Schedule
Options include:
- Pay in full at time of accepted and received instant 5% discount.
- If Pay on Completion is selected:
A deposit of 50% is required when this quote is accepted (order placed)
Payment 2 of 35% is required when the materials and equipment are delivered to the work site
Final payment is due when our work is completed, c.o.d.
Limited Warranty:
Our limited warranty is 90 days on workmanship, from the date of invoice. All parts and equipment are covered by Manufacturer’s warranty policies which may range between 6 months and 1 year. Contact us PRIOR to ordering if you have any questions about a product warranty.
Cancellations:
You have 24 hours from the time this quote is accepted to cancel this order and receive a full refund on any payments made.
