- Uponor heat only thermostats - Heat-only thermostats with touchscreen are designed specifically for radiant floor heating. They use fully automatic differential and pulse width modulation (PWM) to ensure each zone or area is comfortable and energy efficient. The touchscreen provides a simple, intuitive display with large, easy-to-read numbers. The thermostat can control room temperature through operative temperature sensing, an optional floor sensor or a combination of both. The floor sensor can be used to maintain warm floors throughout the heating season as well as provide temperature limit protection. The thermostat is designed to operate using two wires, making it simple to install and service.

ProRox SL 960 is a rigid stone wool board suitable for the thermal and acoustic insulation of horizontal and vertical applications. Board has a nominal density: 6.2 lb./ft.3.. ProRox SL 960 boards fully comply with the requirements as set by internationally recognized standards such as: - EN14303, CINI 2.2.01, ASTM C612 Type IA. - Double Bubble Foil Insulation - R16
Work Order
To replace Kitec hydronic heating tube with new Uponor tubing.
- Disconnect kitec tubing from the manifolds
- Remove the kitec tubing and document condition, dispose of tubing
- Using existing transfer plates, install new Uponor Heliopex tube and connect to existing manifolds
- If required during the installation process, supply and install extra heat transfer plates at extra cost of $35.00 per plate. Price includes the plate, install materials and labour.
- Test and commission the new tubing system into service
Optional services included in work scope, if selected:
- Add freeze protection: Supply and install freeze protection glycol with new automatic glycol feeder to meet at least -25 to -30 C
- Replace thermostats: Replace 5 thermostats with new Uponor heat only thermostats
- Add double bubble foil insulation: Supply double bubble foil insulation for homeowner installation
- Add Roxul insulation: Supply Roxul insulation for homeowner installation
- Install Roxul insulation and double bubble foil insulation. Includes cut insulation to size, fit and staple into place.
Project notes:
- All services included in this quote are only for the areas where Kitec tube is located
- The Roxul insulation is installed between the floor joists last, after the double bubble foil insulation.
- All insulation is non-returnable and non-refundable once ordered
Limited Warranty:
Our limited warranty is 90 days on workmanship, from the date of invoice. All parts and equipment are covered by Manufacturer’s warranty policies which may range between 6 months and 1 year. Contact us PRIOR to ordering if you have any questions about a product warranty.
Cancellations:
You have 24 hours from the time this quote is accepted to cancel this order and receive a full refund on any payments made.
