Description
This treatment is required when bacteria (organic contaminates) is found in a hydronic heating system. It is important to not only kill the bacteria in the system, but to also remove it completely with the use of a high quality sidestream filter assembly.
Your purchase includes:
- 2 stages of bacteria treatment
- Pipe and fittings to relocate the sidestream filter assembly (includes 2 valves)
- 3-way mixing valve
- 12) side stream filter cartridges
- Installation is included
The bacteria treatment is specially formulated to disperse accumulated corrosion deposits, including organic contaminates, removing them from system surfaces and suspending them in the bulk fluid. With the use of a sidestream filter, the deposits are trapped in the filter and removed from the system restoring heat transfer efficiency and reducing or eliminating restrictions that are often encountered in flowlines and zone valves.

Work Order Installation Agreement
Our work scope includes:
- Relocate the existing sidestream filter so that flow can be achieved through the filter assembly
- Supply and install a new 3 way mixing valve
- Inject the first dose of treatment to shock the bacteria
- Train the homeowner on the replacement of the sidestream filter cartridge
After 2 weeks of system circulation:
- Inject the final dose of bacteria treatment
- Inspect the current condition of the sidestream filter cartridge
- Complete any options that have been selected
The price does not cover the following services; however, should these services be deemed necessary during the pre-installation site inspection, they will be quoted separately or provided at an additional cost.
- Flushing of the system
- Equipment repairs or repair parts
- Freeze protection heat transfer fluid/gycol or other treatment
Limited Warranty:
Our limited warranty is 90 days on workmanship, from the date of invoice. All parts and equipment are covered by Manufacturer’s warranty policies which may range between 6 months and 1 year. Contact us PRIOR to ordering if you have any questions about a product warranty.
Cancellations:
You have 24 hours from the time this quote is accepted to cancel this order and receive a full refund on any payments made.
