Description
Refrigerant leaks not only reduce the cooling capacity of your unit, but they can also harm the environment and be a health hazard if they release harmful gases into your home. Therefore, it's important to detect and fix any leaks as soon as possible.
- For central air or mini split air conditioners up to 5 ton
- Fluorescent dye for air conditioning systems
- Air conditioner must be installed
- The specific fluorescent dye utilized may vary depending on product availability.
Service is Included
Need air conditioner repair? This full leak detection service will help us determine if there are any refrigerant leaks that could be affecting the performance of your air conditioner.
- The fluorescent dye is a special substance that helps to identify leaks in the air conditioner system. By injecting it into the system, we can detect any leaks that may be present.
- During the full leak detection, we will use specialized tools and techniques to check all the components of your air conditioner that could be prone to leaks, such as the coils, the fittings, the valves, and the connections.
- We will discuss any issues found with you, and provide you with a free quote to complete any required repairs.
Work Order Service Agreement
Our work scope includes:
- Introduce fluorescent dye into the air conditioning system. The system should circulate the dye for a minimum of 48 hours prior to completing the leak detection process.
- Examination of the condenser, exposed pipes, and fittings, as well as the evaporator coil using ultraviolet (UV) light, excluding wall-mounted evaporator units.
- Present the leak detection outcomes along with repair recommendations, if necessary.
- Provide a free quote on any required repairs.
The price does not cover the following services; however, should these services be deemed necessary during the pre-installation site inspection, they will be quoted separately or provided at an additional cost.
- Testing or troubleshooting
- Repairs or repair parts
- Leak Sealant
- Refrigerant
Limited Warranty:
Our limited warranty is 90 days on workmanship, from the date of invoice. All parts and equipment are covered by Manufacturer’s warranty policies which may range between 6 months and 1 year. Contact us PRIOR to ordering if you have any questions about a product warranty.
Cancellations:
You have 24 hours from the time this quote is accepted to cancel this order and receive a full refund on any payments made.
