Description
This 1/2" lead free double check valve backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the backflow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements.
Its compact modular design facilitates easy maintenance with a single access cover for in-line repairs. It is ideal for protection in continuous pressure piping applications and at cross-connections identified as non-health hazards and for contaminants at the service line entrance. This assembly consists of a lead free cast copper silicon alloy body construction, NPT end connections, quarter turn ball valve shutoffs, top mounted test cocks, two in-line independent positive seating check modules, captured springs, and replaceable check discs and seats.

Installation is Included
Ensure the safety and purity of your water supply with the Watts 1/2" Double Check Valve 007 Backflow Preventers by RBA Mechanical.
The necessary materials for installation are provided. This includes pipe and fittings required for the new backflow preventer, as well as the code-required potable water bladder expansion tank and plumbing permit.
- Rest assured that we prioritize precision and accuracy, which is why we offer a complimentary pre-installation site visit to take precise measurements, guaranteeing a perfect fit for your new backflow preventer. The exact size of the device will be confirmed during the pre-installation site visit.
- Our professional installation service includes supply and installation of a new double check valve assembly downstream of the water meter setting and by-pay-pass loop, but before any building distribution tees or drain valves, along with the necessary potable water expansion tank and permit.
- Additionally, we offer free backflow testing and will submit the required report to Epcor on your behalf.

Work Order Installation Agreement
Our work scope includes:
- Conduct a pre-installation site visit with the customer to review the details of the project and take precise measurements
- Submit application for a new commercial plumbing permit
- Supply and install the new watts double check valve assembly downstream of the water meter setting and by-pay-pass loop, but before any building distribution tees or drain valves (as specified by Epcor)
- Supply and install the required potable water expansion tank
- Test and certify the new backflow preventer
- Set the new system into service
- Submit test report to EPCOR
The price does not cover the following services; however, should these services be deemed necessary during the pre-installation site inspection, they will be quoted separately or provided at an additional cost.
- Alterations upstream of the water meter, water meter valves, or alterations to the water meter setting itself
- Alterations to pipe fitting for by-pass loops
- Any inspection failures that our outside of the immediate scope of this quote
Limited Warranty:
Our limited warranty is 90 days on workmanship, from the date of invoice. All parts and equipment are covered by Manufacturer’s warranty policies which may range between 6 months and 1 year. Contact us PRIOR to ordering if you have any questions about a product warranty.
Cancellations:
You have 24 hours from the time this quote is accepted to cancel this order and receive a full refund on any payments made.
